The dog and cat meat and fur trade is full of cruelty and barbaric practices against animals, as well as crime, health hazards, and environmental hazards, and has given the world a very negative view of the way (COUNTRY) continues to treat animals. The world has seen the heartbreaking images of dogs and cats being brutally tortured and slaughtered for their meat and fur. Banning the dog and cat meat and fur trade, and enforcing strict penalties for violations of these bans, will help reduce and hopefully eliminate these trades. We are also asking for (COUNTRY) to institute strict animal welfare laws that have heavy penalties if violated.
